How to use it
Begin with How this guide works on page 2, then read the Candlewick example on pages 3–7. Your first writing task is on page 10; page 28 starts the guide to preparing for play. Keep the book for the game master and share only the player maps and player table pack. This is system-neutral: use your chosen game rules for characters, dice, spells and fights. The package includes 66 PDFs because the books, journal, table packs and maps come in different paper sizes, print styles and GM/player versions. They are format alternatives, not 66 separate books.

Digital download; no physical item is shipped. Unzip the package and read START-HERE. Choose A4 or US Letter, then color or print files. Print at Actual Size and check one page first. To type into the separate course journal, open it in a PDF reader that supports forms, save a working copy and reopen it to check your entries. The lessons and adventures are system-neutral. Use the roleplaying rules you prefer for characters, dice, spells and combat. Combat statistics are not supplied.
